It has three previous owners before him and an incomplete history, so we’re not sure where this rare example was originally sold. We do know that this was one of the impossible to find examples that were produced before Ford shut down on February 10th, 1942 to assist in the 2nd World War. Approximately 3,400 of this rare model were produced.The Restoration ProcessThe restoration process began almost immediately after the current owner took possession and started with stripping it down to bare metal and restoring the shape to true perfection. A 1946 grill and hood were installed for improved appearance and then show quality paint was applied both inside and out. This classic also has brand new chrome including the headlights/tail lights, pin striping, the bumpers and additional accents. We do know that this was one of the impossible to find examples that were produced before Ford shut down on February 10th, 1942 to assist in the 2nd World War. Approximately 3,400 of this rare model were produced.The Restoration ProcessThe restoration process began almost immediately after the current owner took possession and started with stripping it down to bare metal and restoring the shape to true perfection. A 1946 grill and hood were installed for improved appearance and then show quality paint was applied both inside and out.
