| 1952 SINGER 4AD 1500 SM ROADSTER 125 PHOTOS AND FULL DETAILED DESCRIPTION BELOW!!! Description With just one owner for over 40 years, this incredible 1952 Singer SM Roadster 4AD is a stunning example of an extremely rare roadster built in Coventry, England.Mileage is believed to be correct at 22,124, and the prior owner who had the car for over 40 years inherited it from his father, who had owned it from new, but the title was listed as EXEMPT for mileage when it was put into his name. One of a handful to have survived, the car is in remarkable condition, from the hand-hammered and formed Aluminum body to the modern Coker radial tires for safety. Pale Yellow paint is clean and bright, with only a handful or so minor blemishes from being driven monthly and surviving for 67 years. A few small paint chips less than 5mm in diameter can be found, as well as approx. 8 scuff marks, each covering less than one square inch of space. Review the 125 photos, as I have taken time to provide close up shots of each section of the car. If in doubt of something, PLEASE call to ask! I will happily provide additional photos/video to callers. Interior is quite beautiful, and shows only the faintest signs of use and enjoyment. Driver seat has light seam pulls in 4 spots, passenger seat shows 2, and rear seat has only light surface marks like fronts. All seats are fully stuffed and quite comfortable. Carpeting is a perfect fit to the car, and shows wonderfully. A seat of Singer mats up front keep the carpets looking good. Dash is gorgeous, and free of damage. Gauges are showing light patina on surrounds, but look amazing, and work as they should. Driver side Trafficator works as it should, passenger side is finicky. All external lighting works as it should. Shifter is fully functional, and falls readily to hand when driving. The 1500cc overhead camshaft motor is well-tuned and kept in top running condition. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts crisply and smoothly, and all of the mechanical's are as sorted out as they can be, to provide a car that can be driven and enjoyed safely at any time. It has seen regular use on a bi-weekly basis for many years, and has been maintained to the nth degree by the prior owner. Top is clean and tight, and a tonneau is provided, as are side windows. Top shows one worn segment about ½” in diameter on driver side, and it could easily be patched. Tonneau shows wonderfully, and has all snap fittings intact. Top fittings are all intact and functional as well, and the side panels look amazing! A variety of spare and replacement parts that have been amassed over 40 years is included in the sale, and will come with the car. I have not inventoried these items, but there are a number of boxes, all of which should fit in the car when it ships. Wheels look great, with only light markings. Tires are recent editions, and are modern radial interpretations to allow for safe driving. It starts, runs, handles, performs, stops, and rides wonderfully, and one trip around the block will provide testament to the former owners love and care for this machine while in his care.
