1957 Cadillac DeVille I have owned for 25 years. It's a very nice presentable eye catcher. It is what people are talking about when they say "California Car.'' Very dry and almost no rust one paint original. I just started storing it covered but outside and it deserves better. It rides on Wheel Vintique spoked wheels with Coker whites. Rebuilt transmission with just a few hundred miles on it. Windows, power lowering trunk all work nicely. The radio cycles through the channels when on. Steers and rides wonderfully. It's really a nice car but does need a couple items serviced. The brakes are down so they would need bleeding. I would advise buyer to update/add disk front brakes as these weigh over 5,000lbs and they go but you need to stop them and the single bowl reservoir is not ideal. I broke the passenger front wing window which needs to be replaced. I also recently pulled the tank and did a Por-15 treatment and would need installing. I painted engine chevy blue years ago instead of dark Cadi blue as I just liked it but an easy repaint to original. It deserves to be driven and shown off by the next owner. It's a very nice car but not a perfect one and I priced it accordingly. The car is located in Vancouver Wa and just minutes from Portland OR. I can assist with shipping buyer chooses. Please give me a call to inquire further. Thanks, Sean 360-936-0776 |
