| Complete and original 1965 Volkswagon Karmann Ghia. This is a very solid body car with minimal surface rust. The car has not been hit in the front or anywhere as far as I can tell. The original 1200cc motor starts and runs well, and the transmission shifts through all gears nicely. The black paint appears to have just gone over the original turquoise color as some of the black is chipping off to reveal the original paint. The interior is original...what is left of it, and is in less than fine shape, I planned to replace but was not in a rush.The clock shows 27,859 miles, but the actual miles are unknown. I replaced the tires, brakes, tail lights (NOS), battery, wipers and have some additional parts to include in the sale. The suspension needs attention, namely; shocks, tie rod, king pins, bushings, etc. There is a new cover and period mirror included. The car is titled and registered in my name and is driven regularly for errands, to the coffee shop and the air-cooled events at the Phoenix Public Market on the first Sundays of the month.
