Listing this street rod for an 84-year old friend. He recently had a stroke and can no longer drive. Not interested in trades. This vintage hot rod is a all steel car except for the running boards that are fiberglass. Believed to have been refurbished around 2004; three owners ago. Odometer is showing just over 7k since it was finished.I have drove the car last summer on three different occasions, once was a 100 mile round trip. The car has mostly sat since the owner had his stroke in November 2018. Has a strong motor but drives really nice cursing at 65mph.This is a driver quality car, it has been driven and enjoyed. It has some paint chips and some small paint webbing, but not bad at all for a 16-year old paint.I have tried to take pictures of questionable places (webbing on left front fender on wheel lip and small cracks around the back licence plate box, small bubbles in paint near antenna). The motor is the poplar 355cid (30 over 350 V-8) with a Wieland E. O. D-256-2 supercharger, 9" Ford rear-end, Camero front suspension with disk brakes. Cooled by both a standard belt driven fan and a electric pusher fan. EZ-Wire fuse box and wiring gives a modern update to the electrical. Custom fitted upholstery with embossed logo in the trunk area. Tilt steering aftermarket column. Access is by key-less remote via door poppers. The electric trunk is also operated by this remote. Electric windows are operated by door mounted switches. Car does not have air-conditioning.Clean Ohio title in the owners name. The owner is 6'4' tall so a bigger person has no problem fitting in this car. |
