| Okay well its time to sell my Corvette. Hate to see her go but need the cash. Bought this car 2 years ago and was disappointed with the overall condition so decided to do some upgrades. Literally spent 15K doing so. Here's a list of what I did. Bought brand new high performance 383 stroker (6K), new carb, new mechanical distributor, new alum radiator, rebuilt the Th350 (high performance), new paint, new rims and tires, new exhaust front to back (flowmasters), new center console, new shocks and new brakes. Car runs and drives but needs minor work on front suspension (pulls a little to the left). I would also recommend taking the car to a professional tuner as I am not and never got around to fine tuning the motor. By the way the motor has less than 500 miles on it so I would keep it under 50 MPH until you hit 1000 or more.All in all I've spent around 20K on this car between buying it and restoring it. I hate to see it go and am only selling because I live near San Francisco and the high cost of living here is killing me. My loss your gain. | |
