1965 Chevy El Camino1969 matching block and heads 350 motor hooked up to a th350 automatic transmission. The previous owner had said the motor and trans were rebuilt when he had the car 6000 miles ago. Internals look fresh enough to believe that. Oil pan gasket replaced right when I got it (you have to lift the motor up to do this) as well as the exhaust gaskets, and basic tune up stuff... plugs, wires, cap, rotor ect. Replaced the battery about a year ago and I put in a new starter. Just replaced the shocks, steering coupler/rag joint and mounted/balanced 4 new cooper cobras. New u joints front and rear. Drives straight down the road, smooth for a 55 year old vehicle. Starts and drives well, plenty of power. Cruises at 70-80 no problem with plenty of more room to go. Paint is nice driver quality, not show by any means but shines up great when you want it to look nice and don’t feel bad driving it daily. Interior is pretty complete and clean for its age, mostly correct save the b&m floor shifter. Factory non ac car, heat is not hooked up. Speedo and gas gauge work, as well as added temp and oil pressure. Typical rust spots underneath that are common for this model of this age. Floor pans were replaced. This has been my daily for the last year, never left me stranded. Pickup only or buyer can arrange shipping. Please call me at (413) 427-2500 for more details. |
