| 1969 VW Fastback. They didn't have a fastback category, the closest one was squareback so I used that. This is an all original 69 fastback (type 3) except for the muffler. The 69 VW type 3 was the first year for VW's fuel injection system (this car still has the original system and it runs great)and the first year if the front disc brakes. But it was also the LAST year if the good body style so you get the best of both worlds.It has minimal rust for a 50 year old VW. The pan looks great and the body has typical rust but at a minimum.Take a look at the pic and ask any questions. Odometer reads 57,000 but....mmmm not so sure, the original carpet is pretty worn. It does rung good though so...It's been sitting in the sun baking its original paint and upholstery for years. Thank you | |
