Restoration of this beautiful SS Impala was completed in January of 2020. Manufactured and driven in California it has all original metal. The fresh paint is the original Sky Blue and white. Before painting we stripped and repainted the hood and trunk underside and the engine compartment in semi gloss black. After detailing the underside it was undercoated with bed liner. The chrome is original and very nice. The interior is all new including; seat covers, carpet and headliner and a vintage look modern blue tooth radio with four speakers. Under the hood is a new dyno tuned 430 hp stroker 383 made by Blue Print Engines and sold by Summit Racing. Components are; chrome front runner, Vintage air, aluminum heads, roller rocker, roller cam, 4 bolt main, hypereutectic pistons, Dart intake, shorty headers, and a Quiet Flow "Mauler" carb. The ignition is a modern HEI. Power is delivered through a new TCI turbo 400 transmission. It is a pleasure to drive with modern 4 wheel power disc brakes, power steering with a flaming river box and a 14" wheel, and air shocks. It rolls on new Nitto tires on 18" American Racing rims front and 20" rear. The sound coming through the 2.5 in flow master exhaust is classic muscle music. This car is a real head turner and brings constant compliments at stop signs and even people pulling along side. After many restorations of Camaros and Corvettes nothing has compared to the admiration and appreciation we have seen for this stunning 64. Text or call Bob 7 two 7 6 four 3 4 three 09. |
