| To prepare the car for sale, I had my mechanic perform the following:1. Install 4 new tires,2. Install new battery and cable ends,3. Check lights and electrical accessories,4. Install new alternator, not remanufactured,5. Install new voltage regulator,6. Install new fuel tank and sending unit; acid clean fuel filler pipe,7. Install new fuel pump,8. Install new fuel lines: steel and rubber,9. Install new fuel filter,10. Rebuild carburetor,11. Install new brake master cylinder and new brake fluid,12. Install new brake wheel cylinders in all 4 wheels,13. Install new brake adjuster hardware and springs,14. Brake shoes have 1/2 lining left,15. Install all brake hydraulic lines: steel and rubber,16. Install new front wheel bearings inner and outer, both sides,17. Machine all 4 brake drums,18. Replace and install new steering idler arm; Moog,19. Install new radiator: 3 row aluminium; original radiator is left in the car trunk,20. Flush engine and heater core and install new coolant,21. Install new radiator hoses and clamps,22. Install new thermostat,23. Install new bypass and heater hoses and clamps,24. Change oil (Valvoline 10W30) and oil filter,25. Lubricate front end components,26. Checked transmission fluid: it was found clean and at proper level,27. Install accessory drive belt, and28. The air condition needs to be charged with R-12 freon. | |
