CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER | |
---|---|
Up for auction is a 1941 Pontiac Torpedo Silver Streak. The car is very nice and original inside and out. It retains its original flathead 6 engine, three speed on the column transmission, and rear running gear. It has manual steering and brakes. It runs, drives, and stops like a '41 should. Paint was done in the early 2000's and shows a bit of wear but is still in very nice condition. It has like new wide whitewall tires, rebuilt generator and a newer battery. The inside is mostly original, the rear seat was recovered in a slightly different pattern some years ago. It has a full size whitewall spare tire and a couple of manuals in the trunk. The glass is all in good shape with a little milking around some of the edges. The brightwork is in good condition. It will need the exhaust manifold repaired. It has a crack in it and leaks at start up. It seems go quiet down after its been running for awhile. The underside is very solid as is the rest of the car. Overall the car will make a great drive and show. The car is being sold as is, there is no warranty of any kind. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs or local pickup. I can deliver the car within a few hundred miles for a fee. Please contact me with any questions and don't hesitate to make an offer. (765)376-3486 |
