Up for bids is my 1970 Plymouth GTX. 440 6 pak, air grabber car.REAL GTX , the 6 pack and air grabber were added. It has a strong running 1968 dated 440 block (D code engine) *see pictures.engine fires right up and runs and idles well and holds about 40lbs of oil pressure. . Automatic 727 shifts well. The car has newer paint, new stripe, and new tires all the way around. Non original console, but it is in pretty good shape. all lights work. gauges are redone using the white background. fender tag is there , but no build sheet. Ralley Red U code GTX , non A/C car. Air grabber is missing vacuum lines and switch, but the rest is there. THIS CAR IS BY NO MEANS A SHOW CAR, ITS A DRIVER QUALITY CAR AT BEST.this car DOES NEED SOME TLC, which i will address below.THE GOOD ABOUT THE CAR.1) REAL DEAL GTX 440 CAR. (*they are getting harder and harder to find)2) STRONG 440 ENGINE WITH A 6 PACK SET UP3) AIR GRABBER HOOD IS 95% COMPLETE (*missing air lines and interior switch)4) SOLID BODY, *(at some point rear quarters were put on this car)5) INTERIOR IS PRETTY NICE , NEWER SEAT COVERS , HEADLINER, CONSOLE ALL SHOW NICELY6) 8.75 POSITRACTION REAREND WORKS FINE7) FRAME RAILS ARE GREATTHE BAD ABOUT THE CAR... the car needs over all TLC1) THE NEWER PAINT IS ONLY A 7 ON A SCALE OF 1-10 (not enough prep time and shows some sanding marks and a bit of trash that should not be there) *note not too many sellers will say this ..but the Pictures make the paint look better than it actually is. 2) the power brakes are "soft". may be a leaky wheel cylinder, or may be more. just dont have time to go through them.3) power steering pump leaks a bit and makes the " wine"4) The engine sounds great, no knocking, ticking or such. But every once in a while i do see a small indication of blue exhaust smoke ... this in not on every engine start up but I have owned this car for awhile... it does not do it every time.*watch my videos of the car running. like i say... not every start up does it.5) the undercarrage of this car shows that it must have sat on a dirt floor garage for a few years. it has a light coat of rust, but it is surface rust only. *car was undercoated and is strong.recapping... this car is a nice driver quality GTX that is priced according in today's market for the plus's and minus of the car. I have added a picture of Hagerty's current valuation of the 1970 GTXs . I feel like it is priced according with its condition .PLEASE KEEP IN MIND , THIS IS A 50 YEAR OLD USED VEHICLE, it is sold "AS IS" "WHERE IS" with no Warranty.feel free to ask questions. buyer assumes all transportation fees. I have had dealings with brokers, exporters and the like, I would be willing to export this vehicle, but ONLY after full payment has been made .I do have a couple local guys with trailers and can transport to PORT with reason for a reasonable fee.clean title in my namelinks to you tube videos |
