CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Up for auction is my 1963 Buick LeSabre.It has 81,562 original miles.2 speed automatic transmission,power steering and brakes,am radio.401cubic inch 260 horsepower.I have owned this car since 2009.The folllowing items have been serviced or replaced.Everything works on the car except for the speedometer.I had the transmission rebuilt in May 2019, that alone cost $3600.,and they haven't been able to get it reconnected.It's a matter of finding a clip that holds something in place..I am currently using an auxiliary speedometer which uses GPS.It works perfectly!One other thing is that there's a vacuum leak.My personal mechanic assured me it just needs a gasket on the exhaust manifold.The following things have been serviced or replaced.Radiator recored in 2010.New heater core in 2011.Interior completely redone using all new high density foam and newly manufactured vintage fabric,including new carpeting(2017).The headliner is original and in perfect condition.Complete exhaust system replaced in 2016.New u joints,motor mounts,and transmission mount in 2016.New wide whitewall steel belted radial tires including new spare in 2016.Brakes in perfect condtion.New front brake shoes in 2018.New carb kit in 2017.Four new shocks and front sway bar end links in 2018.Car repainted November 2018.It was originally black.i also have the original build sheet from the factory it was built at.I researched to find it was built in Delaware.I am selling it because I have two other vintage cars and no longer need three.I never get a chance to drive them all.If you have any other questions,please feel free to contact me.Thank you.On Jan-15-20 at 18:25:03 PST, seller added the following information:I would like to add two other items to my listing above.I mentioned the speedometer wasn't operating.Along with that being inoperable the odometer is also disabled.So currently the mileage doesn't increase as you drive.Also the rear bumper in each corner near each tailight the chrome has peeled off from the bumper,each area is about 3 inches by 4 inches.(see pic).Thank you.
