| 1916 was the last year of the Brass Era Model T, most of the brass was used to build bullets shell cases and sent in Europe to be used in WW I .... and because of that, brass became such an expensive commodity.... chrome started after that...... For sale in this listing an 1916 Ford Model T Roadster, Older Restoration, car was restored back in the 1980's, All steel body, I was told that the vehicle has the original matching engine, VIN is 1550449 and same serial number is stamped on the engine block as well. Electric 6 Volt start or manual crank, Speedometer, Flat core newer radiator, upgraded to 24 inch McLaren Wire wheels for a smoother ride, also front coil for a better drive, Rocky Mountain rear brakes......engine turns on right away, this antique automobile drives and runs great ! Again, this is an older restoration, car is not new or perfect, minor flaws are present, paint still looks good but is not new, car is reasonably priced based on its condition, other people are asking much more for a Brass Model T Roadster....
