Up for sale is 1971 Mercedes 300SEL 6.3 that recently came out of storage. The car runs ad drives beautifully.Body is straight. Paint is still has shine to it. There are a few spots where the paint is peeling. Right front lower panel have some rust but still solid.Undercarriage is in very good shape. No cancerous rust anywhere. All jack points are solid. No rust in trunk pockets.Engine runs very strong and smooth. Transmission shifts well. Brake in good shape. White lined tires are uniform and have good thread. The air suspension raises in about 8 minutes to full ride height. When the engine turned off the ride height will slowly goes down in about 20 minutes.Interior is in very good shape. Navy blue leather still soft. There is one small rip about on the front passenger seat left side. All wood trims are in good condition with some shine to it.Chrome trims are in very good condition. Headliner is not sagging, no rip nor stain. Sunroof motor works but roof does not open.Recent work:Serviced fuel pump, Flushed gas tanks, cleaned fuel line, replace rubber fuel line, new fuel filter, new battery, serviced air suspension lines, serviced brake calipers, changed engine oil, trans oil, Power steering fluid,I highly recommend and encourage an inspection before the end of the auction.
