It's an American Classic! A 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible. This one was actually manufactured in June 1964 and it's a Dearborn made unit as opposed to one made in San Jose. It is in very good condition with very few small flaws. It is finished in a pearl white and not the original 'blah' Wimbledon white. It is also mechanically very sound with its 200 CID six cylinder engine (affectionately called the 'Big Six'} and a floor mounted shift automatic transmission. A really nice feature is the power operated convertible top. The top and the rear window are also very good condition. The body panels (hood, trunk, doors) are all in perfect alignment. It has 4 brand new tires with less than 200 miles on them A new battery, alternator and regulator replaced last year. This year, the front end and carburetor were rebuilt plus a couple other new items. This unit also has the uncommon and distinctive trunk mounted luggage rack. Most of its annual miles have been driving it in local parades to carry dignitaries (senators, congressmen, governors & royalty) It currently has only about 59,500 actual miles on it and it has a clean title. Included will be a car cover, manuals and extra keys and some other new parts. You can be assured that this original Mustang convertible will inspire passionate motoring for many years to come!
