Starting in the 1970s I built many Dodge Power Wagons. W100, W200, W300, W500, and a 4 X 4 AutoCar...some pick-ups but most were tow trucks with Holmes Wreckers & mechanical winches. OH...! and a couple of WWII military units built for off-road recovery. Sure...there were some "D" trucks in the mix too. This W100 was to be my last "build" only for old-times sake. My whole Dodge history is with 1969-1971. But with being 71 Y/O now and my bad balance...I just can't make the project happen. This truck has been just sitting in the weather for 4 1/2 years now. When the truck is started it stinks of old gas. It runs OK but needs TLC, as normal, for sitting around and not driven for years now.I purchased this truck in 2015 for $5,000.00. I am asking for $5,000.00 or best offer picked up in Placerville CA 95667.Please let me know if interested in other misc. parts not included with the truck. 8,000 Lb. reversible PTO winch (operate @ front bumper), Brand new PTO for the transfer case with pillow blocks and U-Joints. Heck...other stuff too, if there is interest. Just optional things...but I basically just want to find a home for the W100.P.S. The 1967 W200 in the pictures was purchased new by my father-in-law in San Jose CA and now belongs to my son. Does that qualify for a 53 year one owner Power Wagon? |
