This 1969 Land Rover 109 Series IIA is a right-hand-drive example which has been converted from a hardtop to an open pickup with a full-length roll cage by builder Steve DiMercurio (He built cars for Reggie Jackson). Power is from a Gas 2.25-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. A custom black vinyl top protects the passenger compartment, which offers seating for nine passengers. Additional accessories include a full-length roll cage with driving lights, diamond-plate guards, and a trailer hitch. Black 15″ beadlock-style wheels wear 32″ Dunlop Radial Rover tires, and a matching spare is included in the sale. The braking system was serviced in 2019. The custom black soft top features a cargo cover and zip-out windows.A stock steering wheel rests in front of a right-hand-drive dash painted to match the exterior. Centrally-mounted Jaeger gauges include a five-digit odometer showing approximately 9k miles since the build. Speakers are located in the doors, though the rest of the stereo system has been removed. The 2.25-liter inline-four sends power to all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. A tune-up was performed earlier this year.
