1958 Plymouth SavoyI will be listing a few cars here in the next week or two for my family. We are reducing are number of cars, so please see my other listings as well. I am not a dealer. Here we have a beautiful 1958 Plymouth Savoy with only 22,964 original miles. It could be as close to a "new" 1958 Plymouth as you can find. If you know these cars well, you know that they were very rarely kept away and treasured like this one was. It was originally owned by a woman by the name of Pearl Diehl who loved the car very much. She always kept her Plymouth garaged and drove only sparingly. She owned the car for nearly 50 years before going to a responsible Mopar collector when she was no longer able to drive. This would be a great car for all your cruise night events, car shows, or the certain collector who likes low mileage cars such as this! Details/Features:The original V8 starts easy, runs and sounds great, and makes very good power. The transmission also shifts and operates well at all speeds. All of the windows are tight and go up and down very easy, as you'd expect from a low mileage garaged car such as this. It has all working factory gauges, lights, radio, and heater. Overall, the car runs and drives excellent and is very easy to drive, especially with the power steering. The car looks amazing inside and out. Very nice paint and amazing original chrome and stainless with very little age showing. The interior is like a time capsule. It has the original flooring material which is in very good condition, with all the original upholstery, headliner, and dash. Also has the optional one piece clear/blue rubber mat across the front. There is one loose seam on the driver's side seat bottom that could be repaired easily, but otherwise everything looks close to museum quality in there. The trunk is a museum all on its own. Beautiful original mat and original spare..looks like the trunk was never used pretty much. Underneath the car looks good and solid as you would expect from a car like this (always garaged and never a rust issue car). It was repainted a few years ago - all of the chrome and stainless was carefully removed and put back. The engine bay has been detailed, but still retains much of the original features such as the original sticker on the air cleaner, two factory stamps on the firewall, the original windshield washer bag, and much more. As a whole, the car displays well and is nice enough to win a trophy at most car shows you attend! Please see the photos and ask whatever questions you might have.I reserve the right to end the listing early at any time for the right offer.
