Awesome two-tone '59 Ford coupe. Has a strong .360 (possibly .390) out of a 75 Ford truck. I put the carb on last year. Three speed auto transmission is just about shot. Not driveable as is due to the transmission. Rebuild or replace the gearbox and you can cruise in style. Was my daily driver for a year or so until the tranny went, and it was a lot of fun. Sadly, I have plenty of bills and more things to fix than I can get to, so I'd like to see somebody fix this transmission and get her back on the road.I have done a lot of work to this car, including the carburetor and updating the wiring, but it is an old car so if you're not used to driving old cars, there is always something to work on. It will need front breaks at some point (they stick at first if you haven't driven it), and the radiator has pin hole leaks up top (not a huge problem because the leak is tiny, but it is there). Sold as is. Like I said, she was my daily driver for a good while. Tranny is a three speed auto, so it's a pretty straightforward rebuild/replace if you're good with transmissions. You'll need to arrange for towing/shipping from Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046.This is a 1959 car. There is no title. Sold as is with a Georgia bill of sale only.Lowball offers will not be considered. I'll just keep it and fix the transmission before I give it away. |
