Well, guess what, this 69 Swinger has them ALL.Just purchased from a local Mopar collector we think this car is very, very special. Let's start with the F6 Bright Green paint- its stunning and everything is done- underside, engine compartment - All finished out to a very high level. While we are talking paint let's talk body- IT'S A CALIFORNIA CAR. Excellent metal throughout. There are a lot of stamping numbers in a lot of original metal on this car.I have personally inspected the numbers on this engine and it is the original, numbers matching 340. It performs flawlessly with an Edelbrock carb, the original carb is rebuilt and in a box. The D21 4-speed transmission shifts right on the money. Currently running body colored 15†wheels we have the original 14's that can go with the car if desired.When you look at the ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER we glean that this Swinger was delivered new to Reseda Dodge in Reseda California. The car still wears its Reseda Dodge plate frame and a California Black Plate up front- wow. In looking at the sticker we find the following DX2 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 Hardtop. Heavy duty rear springs, heavy duty torsion bars, front anti sway bars, firm ride shock absorbers, 4- speed trans, 340 4 BBL, Bumblebee Stripes and wide oval tires. Options include, bench seat, tinted windshield, mirror, cigar lighter, Music Master AM radio, fast manual steering, sport steering wheel, deluxe wheel covers and polyester tires. All this came to a whopping $3204.10. we also have the original Vehicle Shipment Memorandum. Nicely documented.April 6, 2000 the great Galen Govier listed this car in the Chrysler Registry. As of this date this was one of 15 Dodge Dart Swingers known to exist. How many of those do you think are NUMBERS MATCHING?There is one concession in the restoration of this car we can see and that is the car was built with a black interior and stripe and the car was restored white and white.
