1968 Plymouth Roadrunner car looks and runs perfect I just had power steering and front disc and full power brakes The fresh 383 runs perfect with a new Holly 4 barrel and brand new polished Headman Headers it also has a high performance aluminum radiator The car was just gone through the carburetor was set up and plugs were gaped. It has the 727 automatic transmission with a transmission cooler it’s all bolted to a Dana 60 rear end with 411 gears. The car has duel magna flow mufflers with 3 inch pipe that end with factory exhaust tips.I just replaced the magnum wheels with a set of 15 inch Black Steel Wheels with a set of Cobra GT tires there are 245/15 in the front and 295/ 50/ 15s in the rear. The body is in great condition there are no chips or scratches and the paint was recently done and a new factory vinyl roof the car was built with a factory tinted rear window and is in perfect condition. The trim is in great condition all the lights work and it has the beep beep horn. The frame is perfect and has not rust or rot, this car was built in California it was purchased new in California and spent most of it life there, the car was shipped to the east coast less than 10 years ago and was always garaged and only driven in good weather. There have been frame rails installed and all metal is original. The interior was replaced a few years ago, from carpet to head liner and the front and rear seats are perfect condition with rips or tears, there is a center arm rest and has a B&M floor shifter. The car has a fiberglass hood with stainless steel hood pins. All the decals and emblems are in great conditionThe car runs super and stops on a dime I just drove it over 50 miles in stop and go traffic with no issues, the car ran cool and the oil pressure never fluctuated I just restored the front grill and replaced all 4 head lights, I also have all the parts that were remover, the original front drum brakes,master cylinder, and headers I’m selling due to I’m opening a business and just won’t have time to enjoy it and go to showsYou will be hard pressed to find a nicer Roadrunner unless your going to spend close to $75,000I been following these car for years and watch all the auction shows I spent close to two years looking at Roadrunners all over New England and have seen my shear of cars that at rotted and need tens of thousands dollars of metal work This car is definitely not that You can get in it, turn the key and goI never planed on selling it my plan was to make it a street driver, I was planning on installing fuel injection to replace the rear end gears with 354s and possibly install air conditioning |
