Folks here you have a 1963 Sports Coupe Ford Fairlane 500. All stainless steel and side panels are present and in very good shape. The interior is in very good condition wearing it's all original seat covers and only the driver's seat has a very small separation at the seam, door panels need to replaced, Headliner can stay for a while but will need top notch detail or replacement if going for that show car look. Floor boards are solid! Trunk floor is solid! no rust around the trunk drip channels!, Bumpers are straight!, Brightwork is very nice!, Car cleans up nicely. Body is straight. Doors line up nicely, nice gaps between panels. Quarters are nice, bottom of the doors are nice, bottom of the fenders are nice. This car has very cool looking street presence. Windows are tinted and roll up and down with ease. Doors open and shut solidly, No Rust on Uni-Body!!Engine is original 260 V8. Starts up nice. Straight pipe dual exhaust is old school but gives nice rumble to otherwise stock car. Mileage is approaching 99K. The car is complete. Not missing anything. Air cleaner in the trunk at the moment. Found something I had been looking for, for several years soon after getting this car and this is the reason why I am selling. Very hard to find 63 Fairlane 500, harder still to find a Sport Coupe with AC, Power Brakes and Power steering. This is a 57 year old car wearing a re-paint to the current red and white; was mint green originally. My plans were calling for a full restoration since this would have been easy on this car but came across a 1963, Stick Shift, V8 Pontiac Tempest I had been searching for a very long time. Can only have one car at a time.I put the Mustang Rims and the tires that you see currently on the car and they do go with the car. If the Buy it Now Price is used I will include a nicer front grill, hood hinges, fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump and water pump all of which I currently have on order but on hold in case winner prefers to buy his / her own. Car is complete. Will run and drive. Easy to load on transporter. It should go without saying but based on how everyone interprets "used car" differently I feel compelled to describe the car in the following manner. Nice runner but 57 years old. Has nicks and bruises. Some rust on body - minor and very easy to repair but there nevertheless. Has roof on roof - see pics. I located another roof from a salvage yard if buyer needs the information. Car is being sold in "As-In" condition, "Where-Is" location. I do not offer any warranty either expressed, written or implied. If sold through e-bay, I can help with facilitating the transport but car does not leave the premises until paid in full. I can assist with loading. The car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing early if sold locally. I would encourage seeing the car in person prior to auction end. Good luck to all and any questions you may have I will try to answer same day. |
