289 cu in V-8Automatic TransmissionManual brakes/steeringThis car has been lovingly restored by a couple of brothers and some other professionals. It is not a Concours car by any stretch, but it is in great shape compared to how it was found in North Carolina. It has a beautiful interior with a brand new Bluetooth enabled radio and speaker setup that doesn't jar with the classic interior. Just about the entire interior from carpet to seats to dash has been redone, and seatbelts were added as well. We replaced any exterior parts that were required and repainted the entire thing to make for a sharp look. Overall the car isn't perfect, but it still turns heads every time we go for a drive. It has been stored/garaged since the restoration was complete. More could be done, but nothing stops you from taking it out for a drive and having fun with it right away. In house terms, it's move-in ready, but there is some more room for improvement if you want to spend some time in any area. We elected to keep the car more original with the manual brakes and stearing, but you can upgrade them to powered steering and antilock brakes if you want without too much trouble. Some of the gauges inside don't work great, but again, nothing to stop you from a nice weekend drive. We wanted my mother to have a bit of fun remembering her high school car, but she isn't really driving it anymore. It's time for it to get a new home with someone who can enjoy it more often. I'll be sad to see it go but hope to hear from you soon, so we can get this car onto its next home.VIN: 8T01C140166The quoted mileage is probably not too accurate, but I will upload a picture when I can. |
