This engine was rebuilt in 2005 and I've had the engine since 2006 This engine is rare, after doing a lot of research I have determined with the Porsche experts that this engine was assembled at the factory for a special purpose. The number 4 on the engine does not exist in the Porsche records. This is how it's been determined it's a rare motor. 914/6 engine ID number is stamped on the rear of the block like this motor, it's a factory stamp and it's a 1970.
