| 0 Vehicle Information Description I just bought this very solid 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne 1500 pick up from a family that owns a local Chevy dealership. They have owned this truck for the last 15 years. For a 48 year old truck its in amazing shape. The truck runs and drives extremely well. At some time the factory 350 V8 was replaced with a 350 V8 from the 80's with Throttle Body, so no pumping the gas peddle to get it started on cold morning, just hit the key and it fires right up. When they traded for it 15 years ago it was missing the tailgate so they did a aftermarket tailgate and painted to match. The rocker panels and cab corners are still very solid about the only rust hole is inside the bed. Inside the bed is very solid you can tell this truck has not been abused because its not dented like most 48 year old trucks would be. The factory Olive Green vinyl seat has also held up very well.The truck is a power steering, power brakes truck with Positraction rear end. The truck is not a show truck, lots of paint flaws, dings in moldings. But it is a extremely solid, great driving 48 year old truck.
