Rare one-year-only 1956 F-100 Custom Cab, former 1970's show truck survivor wearing a cool 1970's "panel" custom paint job in red and coral. Cool features include a forward-tilting hood with hydraulic dampers, old-school hood louvers, Lakes Pipe exhaust, lowered independent front suspension w/power disc brakes, lowered rear suspension. new chromed baby moon Ford steel wheels with 15's out back and 14's in front, new tires, and a brand-new high-end custom interior. Fresh tune-up, runs strong and drives well. Tim 360-936-9257 The engine bay is clean, has classic finned aluminum valve covers and a repro Olds "Batwing" air cleaner. AC was added back in the day, with the vent/fan unit located under the front seat. It will need a recharge and service to operate again, but is all there and hooked up, including the under-hood parts. The old fuel tank has been replace with a custom aluminum fuel cell in the factory behind-the-seat location. The body overall is pretty straight, with the passenger fender having some old repaired damage showing near the bumper. No overt rust issues; some minor bubbling showing here and there, mostly in seams and the hood leading edge. Floors are solid. Minor rust repair in the cab drip rail, an old filler repair top/back of cab. The paint job is old, from the 1970's, and looks cool as heck in my opinion. It has pits, pops, fading, wear, etc. I had it clear-coated to bring back the shine and protect it. I don't want to over-represent the truck, so please look closely at the pictures. No tailgate included. Sold with Bill of Sale, or if you need a title and don't mind waiting 6 weeks or so I will title it in my name and then send that to you. While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 55-year-old classic, and therefore being sold exactly as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction’s end via deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I own a classic auto restoration shop, and can recommend a reliable and affordable broker who I have used many times... ultimately the choice must be yours alone.
