this immaculate 66 chevelle you see listed here is just as nice as if you were standing in front of it.the odometer works and shows 123,607.and based on how tight and sound the car is,i believe its correct.including all original sheetmetal!quarters, trunk, doors, floor pans ect...one floor pan has been replaced back years ago.but,if you didnt know that, you probably wouldnt be able to detect it,due to the fact of how proffesionaly it was done.down the sides of the car is straight and all panel gaps are near perfect.doors, trunk and hood shut like it did in 66.glass and chrome are outstanding.paint is exceptionally nice and slick, absolutely no cracks or rust bubbles.its what i would consider a 9. its a nicely optioned car as well.like power steering, power brakes, factory tinted glass, bumper guards, wood wheel, tach & gauges, posi traction 3:73 12 bolt, 4 spd M20 muncie,ect....still has all 4 T-3 headlights.everything works, like lights, tach, gauges, interior light, wipers, even radio comes on,but it needs the station tuning adjusted.the interior is as nice as what it appears in the pictures.some of the interior is original from 66.like all the metal parts, dash pad, tops of the doors, and rear pieces,headliner,ect...headliner has a small area where that was stitched up,but small.and the metal on top of the doors where the blue is,does have patina there, which i think looks cool?car has been replicated to a super sport 396-325 h.p.the only thing is the vin number not being #13817.pictures can tell you alot more about the car than i can.car doesnt need anything, the only issue i know of is it still has the original 66 gm issue correct 4-speed shifter.it does fine shifting up thru the gears, but when you get slow and down shift,it doesnt want to properly?but thats why so many of these were removed, but at least its still there.it runs and drives like a 66 chevelle should.car sets right and looks like they did in 66. if your looking for something to take this spring and summer to a car show or two, then this one will not dissapoint.nor will it come home without a trophy? last year i sold a 68 chevelle SS-396 to a gentleman in tacoma wa.he entered it in a large all chevelle only event and came away with best of show.....underneath this car is as nice as under the hood area and interior.it has been highly detailed in the smallest of areas.compare the drivetrain and under hood area to other nice cars on here and youll see alot of just mostly black paint over dirt and grease?...this is as nice of a 66 thats out there.look at all the pictures,i will try to answer any questions that you my have. im a dealer doing business as hathcock auto sales & restoration.what you see is what you get.dont bid unless you have read and understand my requirements.so that means if your bidding, you understand that it is being sold as-is,no warranty expressed or implied.all statements about the car are based on opinion, yours may differ.there is an immediate NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $1,500 due within 24 hours of auctions end time.and full payment due within 3 days.if you cant meet these requirements, then dont bid.sorry to be like this, but irresponsible bidders cause this. i have a friend that is a dispatcher at a major transport co.he can usually get cars moved for around.040 to .060 cents a mile.thats extremely reasonable...theres not really nothing to pick out thats bad on this car,its just really sharp and nice. because of alot of compliments to the detail and or restoration to the cars i list on here,i do offer my services to customers, other than the cars i own and sell.if you have a chevelle, camaro, nova or full siize chevrolet, feel free to contact me. |
