My father owned this car for over 35 years, and I drove it as a teenager. He has recently passed away and I have decided to sell it. It has been neglected, but still a very valuable car as shown by the NADA Guide. Fully restored, it is valued at $40,000 with this engine and factory a/c. Like I said it has been neglected...some rust in the floor pans, the master cylinder leaks, the carburetor needs adjusted and the heater, a/c, and radio do not work. The top was replaced about 10-15 years ago, but only works manually. I have the new motor to raise the top but have not had it installed. I also have had a new a/c compressor put on, but not completely hooked up. It has also been re-painted to a non-original color and the side trim is missing.I am listing this at $14,000 firm, which is half way between the low ($10,000) and the average ($18,000) price listed by the NADA Guide. My hope is that someone with the time and skills will take this car and make it whole again. |
