Opulence and Pizzazz 1959 Cadillac Convertible, This is an all matching number car, The frame, the engine and the body tag have all matching numbers just as it left the factory with.This car was in a museum near Houston for a number of years after being fully restored.Then the museum closed and the cars were sold about ten years ago and it has been driven at least twice a month since then. It has recently received nice detailing.The body is very straight, with beautifully applied base coat/clear coat paint. i did find one small 1/2 in chip on the hood but you have to look for it.The body shows no signs of rust, prior body damage or rust repair, please see photos of the very detailed undercarriage.The interior was obviously redone with leather in the original pattern and is immaculate. The carpets fit well and appear as new, probably because of the replacement floor mats with the Cadillac logos covered them. (the only picks I could find on the interior was a small crack by the defroster vent openings, and two cracks on the steering wheel)Even the trunk received a full new lining as when new. The power convertible top fits well and the rear interior top arms are highly polished chrome, again, as when new. All the power windows and power seat works great. The chrome is near show quality, really nice and really expensive to duplicate. Mechanically it seems to be excellent in every way, easy to start when hot and equally as easy to start when cold. The exhaust has been replaced, as has the starter, carb and misc components to make the car preform as when new. I found no oil leaksJust last Saturday it was driven over 45 miles at 70 mph. It preformed excellent, no pinging on acceleration, .The only alterations from original was the addition of a complete A/C system , power front disc brakes with a dual reservoir master cylinder utilizing the original spindles and a-arms and a nice AM/FM radio installed in the glove box with NO exposed speakers.The Wide White Wall radial tires are excellent with close to new thread depth.The suspension is very tight, It runs, drives and stops excellent, no pulling, shaking or vibrations of any kind.We are located near the Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas 77032If you would like to have the car inspected or view the car please contact me thru the "ask seller a question link on ebay" to make an appointment.We have a good Texas title It is for sale locally so if you would like to make a reasonable offer, please contact me.I can make shipping arrangements world wide, send me your zip code if in the USA or the nearest Port of Entry for your country, for a freight quote..
