CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER | |

Up for auction is this beautiful 1956 belair 2 door hardtop. I would call this 56 a "barn find" or "survivor" It has been in dry storage for about 30 years! I have brought this car home and only cleaned it up, Got it running, Which only took a new battery, Fuel pump, and fresh gas. I also replaced all four wheel cylinders and replaced the brake fluid with new. So the car now runs, moves, And stops. So it will be able to be loaded on a trailer or a transport truck if you have someone pick it up. This car is extremely solid and straight. I believe it had one repaint at some point. It is still it's original paint colors of paint code 756 which is Grecian Gold and Calypso Cream. And it's original interior with code 627 which is Charcoal & Yellow pattern cloth with Cream immitation leather. This 56 has it's original 265 V8 engine and Power glide automatic transmission. The stainless trim is exceptional and very straight. All the chrome is very presentable. This car is very original and 100% complete. It's very hard to find a car like this these days. Most times you will be buying a car that someone else completely tore apart and gave up on. This car you could drive as is, Fix it up as you drive it, Or completely restore to show room condition. That's up to you. This car can be shipped anywhere in the world if you arrange it. I would encourage you to come take a look at it. You won't be disappointed! This is a great car. You can email questions through ebay, Or call or text me at 717-490-4851. I'll be glad to answer all your questions. There will be a $500.00 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end. Unless o other arrangements have been made with me prior. (To make sure you are a serious buyer) I'm a real person, Check my feedback. I'm located in Beautiful Lancaster County PA. And this is a real car. Come take a look! ThanksOn Feb-09-20 at 09:24:02 PST, seller added the following information:I just ran the numbers on the engine as some people were asking. It appears to be a 283 engine, Not a 265. Sorry for any confusion. I had not checked it before as I assumed it was the original 265. Thanks |
