| Volkswagen Beetle - Classic . 1977 Volkswagen VW Super Beetle Convertible w A/C..Needs some work as you can see from pictures. Has been sitting about a year but I have drained fuel tank, replaced fuel filter, cleaned carb and plugs. Runs and drives but suggest carb rebuild as it looses power at top end. Fuel injection was removed years ago. Rust is not to bad on body or undercarriage, and all the panels should be salvageable. It had undercoating sprayed a few years ago so most of it is ok, BUT the battery leaked in tray so the floor pan in rear seat area needs replacing as it has rotted through. Frames is still good. Has aftermarket wheels and air conditioning. Would be a good resto project, but I’m moving and don’t need any extra baggage. The previous owner has passed on and I am not able to obtain a title, bill of sale, or registration so it is being sold as a parts car. Would make a good sand rail or Manx buggy project. $1000 OBO | |
