Up for sale is my awesome 1972 Porsche 911 Targa with only 78,000 original miles. For the past 8 years I have been restoring this car from top to bottom. It was professionally painted in brilliant yellow, with custom logos added to top off this special car.Even the door handles and mirrors were replaced to enhance the appearance. The car has been garaged at all times and only comes out on those sunny days.Originally from South Carolina, there was no rust and the car has a solid belly plan. Here is the short list of mechanical items performed over the past 8 years: New Tires, Brakes, Rotors, Calipers, Brake Lines and Hoses all replaced. New Batteries and Cables, Trunk Liner and Electric Heat Conversion.Transmission and Carburetors were professionally rebuilt. The Clutch, Pressure Plate, Throw-out bearings were all replaced when the transmission was rebuilt. Clutch Slave Cylinder replaced, Speedo Cable Replaced. The engine has been tuned, tube seals replaced, Valve cover gaskets changed, etc.The interior was upgraded with high back power seats, new rear seats and rugs with soundproofing. Complimenting the interior includes a new Digital am/fm radio with CD player, Momo Steering wheel. The front storage area has the original spare and carpeting to round out the look.I have close to $30,000 invested into my 911 over the past 8 years; looking to sell to someone who loves the classics. This beauty should only go to someone who has the same passion that I have for a 911. |
