GREAT FATHER SON PROJECT, WEEKEND PROJECT OR INVESTMENT. CAR IS LOCATED IN BRANFORD CT - PRICE IS 100% FIRM!!!!This is a nice project car for someone looking for a solid foundation to start with, the hard part is done now you just need to install everything. The car started its life as a nice Rust Free Alabama car, I purchased the car about 12 years ago as a not running or driving C Code 65 Fastback that just needed a little love. I decided to add the car to my collection and build it the way I wanted, I wanted a Classic car that was not only Fast but handled and stopped like a modern car. The Original Suspension was Removed from the car, the front end received a Heidts KX-102-EK MUSTANG 2 $1,999.99 Front end kit. Added a Strut Tower Delete kit for more engine clearance, the rear end Received a Heidts PRO-G Bolt in 4 Link kit which cost $2,445.00 I proceeded to have all this installed which costed me another $3500 Once the Suspension was installed I then ordered a 11" 4 Piston wild wood front & rear disk brake kit with Drilled and Slotted Rotors. $ 1,875.00 Money Well Spent I then Purchased a Borg-Warner T5 5 Speed trans and had it built with TKO500 Internals by Champion Transmission $ 1,250.00 Plus trans . I already had a factory Good Running low milage 351W From a 1969 Ford mustang I pulled I planned to use for this Project. I Ordered a 4BBL Holly 750CFM Carb for it, Intake, BBK shorty Headers, MSD IGNITION, Installed New plugs and wires, new oil pan gasket and a 7 Quart oil pan. We also had a stage 2 comp cam installed, I also sent the Heads out to be Rebuilt ported and polished. Spending another $2,420.00 on Engine work and parts. During This process I decided on going with a 8.8 Rear end for many reasons so I Purchased 31 Spline Mosser Axles, 3:73 ford racing gears, a Detroit Locker for a true posi, and a Ford Racing C-Clip Eliminators, I had the rear end work done by MOROSO BY IN GUILFORD CT $1,200.00. They also Shortened the rear end 3" per each side to allow for wider tires in the rear. The Suspension kit on this car is 100% Fully Adjustable for ride height and comfort, I wanted to be able to go with different wheel options and not have clearance issue using a 17" or 18" Wheel. After having all this work done we had the car painted with a base coat clear coat paint the paint code is Torque ford red, the paint does have some scratches and a few chip from being rolled around a garage and in and out of shops. It can easily be touched up and still look very presentable for a nice daily driver quality car. The car Did not need any rust repair since it was already a solid rust free southern car. This car has all the Original Body Panels, hood, Fenders, Glass and interior from what I can tell. This car just needs to be put back together, everything is here with the exception of some hardware, a Dash pad, will need a headliner, and some odds and ends but 90% of everything is here even if you do not see it in the pictures This is a project car not a Turn Key car so if you do not have the Mechanical Knowledge or the funds to finish it this may not be the car for you. Drive train wise its a drop in turn key and go, install the interior and fix the rest as you drive it. At Least thats what I would do, Enjoy the car while working on it. The body panels will need to be aligned but the gaps are perfect because they are original panels.
