| Up for sale is a 1969 Plymouth Sport Satellite convertible. It was purchased by my father new in 1969. I have the original window sticker and invoice, as well as the original warrantee booklet, owners manual and air conditioning advertisement. The car sat outside for most of it's life, so there is a fair amount of body work that needs to be done, including the drivers side floor pan (I have a brand new spare, and that will be included with the vehicle). I originally had planned on restoring this, but have come to terms with the fact that I prefer cars from the 1950's cars. I have done a lot of work under the car. I have scraped off most of the original underbody coating, and removed and treated any rust I found with POR-15 products. I've also run new stainless steel brakes lines, and new stainless steel fuel lines. I also rebuilt and repainted the leaf springs with a kit from YearOne.com. The trunk pan is pretty solid, it does have some pitting, but again, I have treated the entire trunk multiple coats of with POR-15. Having said that, the drivers section of the trunk pan has a fair amount of POR epoxy putty, it looks fine, and would probably hold up just fine for many years. The engine is a 383, it does run, but has not been turned over in several years. Last time I started the vehicle, the carburetor was in need of being rebuilt, but I have not done that as of yet, as I was focusing on the underside of the vehicle.
