This car appears to have all of it's original Sheetmetal and does not look like it has ever been in any accidents or ever has had any rust.Restored/Built in 1982. It looks good but remember, this resto was done 38 years ago so it's not perfect by any means! This car has been stored inside for it's entire existence. Just a nice clean, dry, original body and chassis. This car was built to be a show car in the early 80's. Lots of chrome done at the time of build. Chrome still looks pretty good and is relatively in great shape. This is a 38 year old, single stage, Imron emerald green paint that still looks very presentable. Upon a closer look you will find some checking in places and also has a few paint chips here and there. The interior is Old School tuck and roll type Naugahyde. The interior is still in great shape! The convertible top is a custom made Naugahyde top and is in decent shape having no holes, rips, or tares but has some minor discoloration in spots and the stitching is coming loose on the back window, which is still clear. It also has a nice Continental spare tire kit The engine is a rebuilt, low mileage 1965 327 roller engine and it has a 3 speed th350 auto trans w/floor shifter Recent work done to the car. New brake shoes, New wheel cylinders, New drums, New high flow water pump, New large 3 core aluminum radiator, New electric high CFM cooling fan, New radiator hoses, New heater hoses, New Alternator conversion, New alt/wp belt,New battery,4 New BFG Silvertown Wide White Wall radials, Vintage Old School Tru-Classic spoke rims This car was taken out of a long storage and still may need some minor fixes. It was driven from the South Bay Area, California to Reno Nevada for Hot August Nights in August 2016 and 2018 (300 miles one way). The car drove well and was received well by the shows general public and show participants. I just recently took it out for a 100+ mile drive and it was a joy to drive, as usual! This car is a Super Solid driver quality car. Was owned by prior owner for 40+ years. Quite possible they were the original owners. This re-build is 37 years old and is a true "10 Footer" This beautiful Bel Air is located 3.5 Miles from Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, CAI will work with your shipping company to provide help with shipping if necessary. Thanks for your time. |
