I'm selling my 1970 Ford Torino Cobra 429 four-speed car. It is an N-Code big block 429. It has the factory aluminum sports louvers and Magnum 500 wheels with Cooper Cobra tires in excellent condition. I added a Shaker hood scoop from Ford Ram Air which is an excellent quality reproduction. I've tinkered with the car for two years and completely replaced the entire brake system, upgrading to discs in the front. The interior is in excellent condition. This is a non-power steering and non-AC car. I bought it from a boutique car dealership on the East Coast who said they acquired it from the original owner. It is the stock yellow color, but it has clearly had a repaint. Unfortunately, the paint is dull and has some wear including a small ding in the rear from the original owner. I have added the Deluxe Marti Report. I am selling the car for financial reasons and wish I could keep it. I will include some small parts such as a stock ribbon tachometer, and an under dash panel with two new gauges (temp and oil). In my opinion, this car is the epitome of '70s cool: big and fast with tons of attitude. It always put a smile on my face when I drove it. I entered it last week in the Sacramento Autorama 2020. |
