Back when trucks were still manly and made entirely out of steel, this K5 Blazer is a mini tank, and a beautiful one at that. Originally from California, this complete body off frame restoration is the closest thing you'll find to factory new right off the showroom floor (minus the sleazy car salesman!) This Blazer has been rebuild using 100enuine GM parts. This second generation Blazer, also known as the Jimmy, had an absurdly long production run of 18 years (1973-1991). During that time, the K5 Blazer was offered in a number of variations, including military applications, and is slowly becoming a pop culture icon of its era. We joked earlier about its all-steel construction, but it's this feature which lends to the K5's durability and utilitarian quality. This particular K5 features GM's 350 cu in V8 and 4-Speed automatic with 4WD and low range gearing. Mechanically, this blazer is overall excellent. Our inspection report noted some very minor axle "play" and the passenger door does require a strong arm to close it properly. Beyond these minor issues, this K5 is excellent. Likewise for the paint and interior, everything looks factory new. We did note a small paint imperfection on the driver's side door, but its not very noticeable at all. Other than that, this K5 looks great from afar and up close! This K5 Blazer is built unlike any truck on the market today, eliciting a sense of nostalgia modern vehicles just don't offer. And in this condition, this particular K5 is perfect for anyone looking to drive a piece of automotive history, or add to their collection. This vehicle may be viewed in our Phoenix Showroom.
