Skyway Classics Alan Tanski (734) 389-7246 1800 14th Ave E Palmetto Florida 34221 1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super C10 Contact Skyway Classics 1800 14th Ave E Palmetto Florida 34221 Vehicle Information Description 1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super C10 454 Why This Truck Is Special This 1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super C10 Pickup we have at Skyway Classics looks like the day it was bought off the showroom floor, with some upgraded performance and comfort items. Mechanical Specs We can start with the big block 454 cubic inch engine, which is a period correct for 1971-1972 Super C10, sits in a perfect factory correct and detailed engine bay. The 454 Big Block is mated to a matching numbers 400 Turbo Trans #8624486 and a 12 Bolt Rear end #3898632. Everything looks as it did in 1971 with the factory valve covers, cast iron exhaust manifolds, hoses and accessories, but with a performance aluminum intake and Holley carb. It has Power Steering, Power Brakes, and AC and emits a great sound thru the dual exhaust system, turbo-type mufflers, and dual chrome tips. Interior On the inside the rich brown leather bucket seats have the sculptured inlays as well as the door panels looking great with the wood grain inserts that match the dash. When you look at the wood paneled dash it has the gauges with the factory rpm tach and speedometer showing only 24000 miles. The column is Tilt with the matching brown cushioned tri-spoke steering wheel. It has seat belts, a restored radio and speaker system, great headliner, and all other factory correct interior parts. Exterior It is painted super nice orange on the exterior and bed, with woodgrain and chrome trim. It has a laser straight body and good lines. The fit of the bed to the cab is very good. The fit of the side stainless is as good as we have seen and it's all factory. This C10 also has the dual mirrors. Also it has the wood grain in the lower chrome and tail gate which all looks great as well as the Cheyenne Super C10 badging it came with. When you look under this truck all the floors pans look solid and are in great shape and every part is cleaned and detailed here too. Other components include chrome custom wheels with fat Uniroyal tires under the near perfect short bed that has a bed mat too. Conclusion There are very few 1971 Chevrolet Super C10 Pickup trucks either stock or in restored condition, but we have this Super C10 454 at Skyway Classics. If you come see it in person, you will know what we mean. This truck is simply gorgeous, let alone great sounding and driving. So give us a call at 941-254-6608.
