| In 1976, Mr. Don Pecht purchased this Monte Carlo Landau from a small Chevrolet dealership in Pennsylvania. He ordered it with some interesting options including the rare 400 CI 4bbl V8, swivel bucket seats and the special Lime Green Metallic paint available for this model year only. In the spring of 2014, Don traded in his Monte for a new truck at the same dealer he purchased it from new. After 38 years, the car had only 14,500 original miles on it at the time of trade. Also, since most of its life was spent in a climate controlled garage, the original condition has been extremely well preserved. I am the second, and very proud owner of this timeless classic. The only items not original to the car are the wheels and tires simply due to their age. However, I have all 5 originals on display in my garage in perfect condition and are included in the sale. The wheels and tires you currently see are period correct replicas rally wheels and narrow band white wall tires that were options for this model year.You will not find another all original 1976 Monte Carlo in like new condition optioned in Lime Green Metallic paint. It is a beautiful classic that turns heads everywhere it goes. | |
