| 1966 Cadillac DeVille with 96k miles on it. It has had an older restoration at sometime in the past and it is starting to show it's age. It was an amateur restoration and the quarters do have filler that is cracking that will need attention in the future. The car was put into storage in 2001 and just taken out last summer. The car was gone through when pulled out of storage and has had a new radiator, alternator, starter installed with a tune up and oil change. When the car was on the hoist the floor, and trunk pans and the frame look to be in very good condition. The floor and trunk pans have no rust through that I can see and appear in great shape. The brake lines were replaced and brand new tires installed all around. The top switch is freshly rebuilt and the top functions as it should. The car runs well and goes down the freeway well although the suspension is soft. All the lights work on the car including the fender mounted turn signals, dash light, interior lights and also the trunk light. All gauges work except the temperature gauge and radio, even the clock still works. All power windows work along with the power seat, wipers and the horn. The climate control doesn't function. The interior is in decent shape with a rip and wear on the drivers side. The door panels are in excellent shape.The pictures show a missing hubcap but I have it and it is installed. | |
