You are bidding on a 1929 Chrysler series 66 4 door sedan. This car has received a full frame off restoration but unfortunately the owner now has heath problems and had decided to sell the car before it is completed. Everything so far on this car has been rebuilt or restored to the highest standards. The underside looks just as nice at the top side. All mechanical parts rebuilt including engine, transmission, rear end, brakes, etc. All new correct wiring harness installed. Gauges rebuilt and in working order including the gas gauge with rebuilt sending unit. All the glass and window channels are new. Extremely nice woodgraining on inside garnish moldings etc. New top, new tires. All of the chrome has been restored and triple chrome plated. Paint and body work are extremely nice. Most of the body wood is original and in extremely good condition. Doors open and close with ease, no sagging hinges etc. All the tires are new including the 2 sidemounts that are not pictured. What's left to complete? The entire interior needs to be done, all the original interior has been saved to use as patterns. The side mount tires are missing a mounting plate which should not be hard to duplicate. The hubcaps have not been restored, they need to be plated or replaced. The wind-wings need new glass cut and the mounting brackets polished. With this work completed you should be on the road with a very nice car. The reserve price on this car is a fraction of what has been invested to date. The car has a clean title in the current owners name. The car is located in Logan Utah and can been seen in person for inspection. Thanks for looking, please email with any questions. |
