1934 MG PA. Purchased in 1992 as an abandoned restoration. Restoration, as a driver, was completed in 1996. Car was stripped to bare chassis and put back together. Chassis was cleaned, running gear cleaned and repaired as needed. Body was stripped to bare wood. All rusted metal was replaced. Where possible, the original metal was saved. Engine was serviced. New piston rings fitted, bottom end bearings were renewed. New valve guides fitted, old valves re-seated. Hardened seats were not installed. New instruments were supplied by John Marks of Vintage Restorations. New wire loom installed with flashing turn signals. Full weather gear supplied. Head lamps are fitted with sealed beam units. Horn is not correct. Interior is done in vinyl |
