The iconic 1969 Camaro dressed in flashy orange and white for the 1969 Indianapolis 500, does it get any better than that? A real 1969 Pace Car that to me is the perfect car to own and enjoy as it's right in the sweet spot. It's a little older rotisserie restoration so it's not a trailer queen that cannot be enjoyed but will surely win and place in the car shows you want to attend. I purchased the car a few years back and some nice upgrades were performed at that time such as a power steering with a quick turn ratio, and a blue tooth enabled radio in a traditional style that fits without any modifications to the dash, sound deadener was added throughout to help quiet the ride along with Gardner Exhaust. I have a picture book detailing the restoration process to validate the work that was done. It has a 350 small block in it, if I recall correctly it is a 1968 model so not original to the car. When I purchased the car I was extremely pleased with it but the paint was not as nice as the rest of the car and that in my opinion is the most important part any car. So I had the car taken apart and a show quality paint job performed that cost well over $10,000, the car is now fantastic. Since it's restoration I would estimate that approximately 1,000 miles have been driven and since the repaint was performed it's had approximately 200 miles added so as you can tell the car still shows very well and would make anyone proud to own and drive. The 350 is peppy but very well behaved, the transmission shifts smoothly without any issues whatsoever and the overall performance of the car is very enjoyable. Some cars you have to tame like a wild beast, while some are well mannered, this one is very well mannered. This is a car you could have your wife get in and drive and you would both be very comfortable with. I have added an immediate deposit due of $100 to dissuade people from hitting the buy it now without any intentions of purchasing. Full payment is required in 7 days or upon pickup whichever comes first. |
