Modified 1972 MG Midget. The power train is from a Toyota Celica, a two liter or 2T including the electronic ignition. The carburation has been customized to fit a new Weber 36/36 with automatic choke. The four speed transmission and clutch and master cylinder is Toyota. The rear end is Midget. Options include a full, one piece metal forward tilting front end, a removable steering wheel, a comfortable light weight seat, custom dash, remote battery box with cutout switch, roll bar, anti-roll bars, lowered suspension, fuel cell, twin electric fuel pumps and twin sets of wheels and tires. The other set are wide slicks. The current set-up is for autocross racing. If you wished to "Streetify" it, you would need to keep the current wheels and tires on it which are Cosworth Vega Wheels with new thirteen inch rubber and do something with the exhaust system. The top is in nice condition as well. There are more serious racers out there, but this one is seriously fun! I have an old title for it but I am selling it with a bill of sale. I am not a fan of Paypal, so before you make a deposit, please call for instructions. On Feb-09-20 at 18:19:10 PST, seller added the following information:It may not have occurred to you, but do take notice that there is not bulge in the hood. The motor and transmission fit wonderfully. It is a perfect application to the car. And the car is solid. When I am inside it, everything from the seat height to the placement of the shifter feels great. It is a sweet vehicle and one that I would keep if I could. |
