| 1972 Dodge Polara Custom for sale. This is a project car-or not. You choose. I've done a TON of work to this car finding rare and hard to find parts(they are in the trunk) and restoring OEM pieces and parts you can't really buy anywhere. The tail lights are not NOS-I restored them. The grille is not NOS-I restored that as well with the headlight buckets. The top was removed and sanded to bare metal and primed. No rust-no rust on the window trim either. The trunk was also stripped,sanded and primed and also has no rust. There is no Bondo on the car. Lower rear quarters have minor rust I was not able to get to yet. Floors and frame are perfect and not "spray-painted" to cover anything up. Included photos of the undercarriage. Interior needs work as shown. Engine runs great,trans shifts very nice and the car is pretty quick. It's a 360 V8. Windshield has chips that need to be reapaired. All lights work. I have a new passenger cornering light for this car-not installed-but I have it. It will need a heather core. I have it bypassed. The car still has AC-so the core needs to be one with that. The Non-AC cars have a different heater core. I don't know what else I can say. Everything about the car is right here and it's all out there to look at. It has been all over Facebook since I drove it and worked on it. It's not perfect-but these are super hard to find and this is an awesome start to something excellent. It does not need any fluid changes,tune-up,gas tank repair,brakes or anything. Just get in,fire it up and take off. | |
