I thought I'd tell you how happy I am that you will be the proud owner of a certain 1979 VW Super Beetle Convertible." "I've got a feeling you're going to look great driving it," he went on to say. "Have fun working on it and I look forward to being able to visit her when I come home to see you. After all, she and I were together for a very long time." The car was a gift to my cousin. Susan Dey, of Partridge Family fame, gifted it to him. It was purchased at a dealership in Marina Del Rey and was shipped all the way to West Virginia for me. We did, in fact, have a blast working on it. We restored it to its original luster and have driven it sparingly over the years. More about the car- it's a triple white, 1979 Super Beetle Convertible. The engine has been completely rebuilt. New top, fenders, bumpers, paint, upholstery, paint, and rubber seals. Wheels are original with new paint. Fuel injected transmission. This was the last year the convertible was made, which makes it more desirable. Body is pristine! ☀️☀️☀️ | |
