This AACA National Award Winner 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle has SS 454 flash with nice paint, a super clean interior and a fire breathing LS5 454 V8 all in a package that is done right and doesn't cost a fortune to own.This car started its life as a Malibu and was put through a Complete No holds barred rebuild of a Chevelle SS. This car was completely restored in late 2000's and one award in 2009. Finished in correct Cranberry red with gloss black racing stripes. Under the hood you will find correct cowl induction air cleaner and winter aluminum intake with 4 barrel carb. Attached id correct exhaust manifolds with nice sounding dual exhaust!! Also correct chrome valve covers and recent tuneup with HEI dist. The factory A\c keeps you cool on those hot days. This Car was brought up from North Carolina in 2012. The underside is extremely nice for a 49 year old vehicle. Has factory correct front disc power brakes and rear drums out back. Inside the car a beautiful dash and bucket seats. The headliner is tight with seatbelts clipped in as day it was new. Hurst 4 speed shifter and console all look excellent. This car runs and drives awesome, I have owned it for 3 years and really enjoy the conversations and thumbs up it gets. Its time for someone else to enjoy and add to there collection.
