Hello and thank you for looking at this classic Mini. You may call me to discuss this car at (217) 550-3428. This little car runs and drives well. The brakes are good, the clutch doesn't slip or chatter. The wipers, heater, defrost, lights and signals work as they should. The horn works, the glass is all good. The interior is very nice, and has plenty of room for big and very tall drivers. The paint looks good, with the usual imperfections, but overall, very presentable...…, the chrome is nice, too. There is a shallow crease, on the left side rear panel that is not very noticeable, unless you look for it. Very fun car to own and drive. This little Mini is a right hand drive car, most likely imported from England, back in the pre-internet days. Although the car is a MK IV from early 1980, the vin tag and thus the title, states the car is a 1961. From what I gather, this was pretty common due to import year laws, back in the day. There is not another car on Earth, that has more of a chance of a "mixed pedigree", than the classic Mini. Parts are always interchanging, upgrades, downgrades, performance mods and standards models being upgraded to Cooper and S, performance models. This one, is pretty much a standard British Leyland Mini 1000. Has the "pre-verto" clutch, etc. One modification is the Dukes of Hazard paint scheme, with the British Union Jack, raised high, flying on the car's top, appropriately. The car has not been jumped! The Perfect car for cruise night, drive-ins, etc. We have sold fine automobiles, here on eBay, from coast to coast, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Central America, The UK, all over Europe and even New Zealand.
