I PRICED AT MY BEST PRICE - FIGURED EVEN THOUGH EBAY ISNT A SITE YOU NEGOTIATE ON; OFFER AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE SO SOMEONE CAN BECOME CARETAKER OF THIS SUPER COOL BUS!1971 is known as the best year of the Bay Window as it has the upright motor and front Disc Brakes. I purchased this bus in Oregon years ago and brought to a shop in Chula Vista to have it restored. Everything was removed from interior, windows, trim as well as the engine. The interior and exterior were painted and new trim was installed. The interior was done in a very cool fabric that compliments the color as well as new headliner and door cards, etc. The engine is a 1.6L, the transmission was serviced, and new clutch installed. Bus drives great, shifts great and handles….well, as well as a bus handles. So fun to drive and you can bring 8 of your closest friends along. I have over $25,000 invested; haven’t been able to drive since work was completed a few years ago. Have 2 others I bought to keep; Sunroof Bus and a Westfalia; need to sell one and this one is complete so unfortunately it is for sale. Mechanic just went through it to make sure all tuned up and ready to go. Come look at it now before I change my mind. HA. | |
